About the event
Go Deeper with Skybird YOGA! a NEW Summer Series. To offer a space and experience where individuals can explore deeper layers of thought, practice, and presence through themes that expand awareness, cultivate curiosity, and inspire meaningful connection to self, others, and the world.
This Go Deeper Workshop: Tarot - Where Light Meets Shadow
with Amanda Kooi of MoonStruck Alchemy
In this workshop, we’ll explore tarot as a sacred, intuitive practice- one that invites us to slow down, listen inward, and connect with the energies within and around us. Together, we’ll learn the foundations of the cards while tuning into our body’s wisdom, personal symbolism, and the rhythms of nature. Whether you're new to tarot or deepening your practice, this space will help you trust yourself more fully and read from the heart.
About Amanda: Amanda is a tarot reader, astrology enthusiast, and ritual candle maker who has been reading cards for over 10 years. She blends intuition, nature-based wisdom, and cosmic insight to help others reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Amanda believes tarot is a sacred tool for self-trust, healing, and personal transformation—and she loves holding space for growth, reflection, and a little everyday magic.
Location: Skybird YOGA Barn Studio
Date/Duration: June 23, 4-5:30pm(Eastern Time)
This offering blends tarot, intuitive development, somatic awareness, and gentle astrology, all grounded in seasonal wisdom. We’ll work with journaling prompts to deepen self-reflection, explore card meanings through both structure and intuition, and connect to the vibrant, expansive energy of the summer solstice. It’s a heart-led space that honors personal growth, inner knowing, and the beauty of this season of light and transformation.
Participants will leave with a deeper sense of peace, trust in their own intuition, and confidence in their ability to read tarot in a way that feels authentic and empowering. They’ll gain tools for reflection, spiritual insight, and self-guided healing - along with the support of a growing community of like-minded souls. Most importantly, they’ll leave feeling more connected - to themselves, to spirit, and to the path they're on.
What to Bring: Please bring a tarot deck you feel connected to - if you’re unsure, the Rider-Waite deck is a great place to start (and I’ll have mine with me, along with a few others). A journal and something to write with can be helpful for notes or reflection. Most importantly, come with an open heart and a willingness to explore.
