🧘♀️ GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q: Where do I go to book classes now?
There are two ways to access the Skybird YOGA Portal. You can book directly through our website: www.skybirdyoga.com - go to classes - or via the Skybird YOGA App (available to download in the App Store and Google Play).
Q: Can I still email Susan to sign up?
As of Tuesday, July 29, we will no longer be taking reservations through email. All bookings will happen through the Skybird YOGA Portal.
📱 APP & ACCOUNT SETUP
Q: Is there a mobile app?
Yes! Download the Skybird YOGA App for easy booking, payment, account management—and even class check-in!
Q: Do I need to create a new account?
If you are a regular attendee at the Skybird YOGA Barn you should have an account waiting for you. An email was sent that explains how to access your account and change your password. If you don’t find the email in your inbox, check other email inboxes like spam or promotions.
Q: What happens to my existing class package?
Your current package and any credits will be transferred to your new account. You’ll see them in your account portal once your profile is set up. Your expiration date for these classes is one year from the date of purchase.
Q: Do I need to sign a waiver?
Even though you may already have a waiver on file, everyone will be asked to sign it again when you log in the first time.
💳 PAYMENT & CHECK-IN
Q: Can I still pay with cash Venmo or Zelle for yoga classes?
We are no longer accepting cash for booking yoga class online or through the app. All reservations must be paid by credit card or ACH (bank transfer). ACH payment is available only on the website at this time.
Q: Do you accept cash, Venmo or Zelle for Private one-on-one sessions, Private group sessions, retreats and merchandise?
Yes! Cash, Venmo (elizabeth-nuti-1) and Zelle (eliz.nuti@gmail.com) can be used for these things.
Q: Is my credit card / ACH information stored?
Once you have paid with a credit card that information is stored in the Skybird YOGA Portal. You can easily remove it from your account under payment methods. ACH payment information is NOT automatically stored and must be entered with each transaction.
Q: How do I check in for class?
The Skybird YOGA Portal has a way for you to do this yourself. Until everyone gets comfortable with the system we will check everyone in when you arrive at the Skybird YOGA Barn Studio.
🧘♂️ BOOKING CLASSES & EVENTS
Q: What options do I have for buying classes?
You can purchase a single class or a package (of various quantities). If you purchase a package you can always check your balance in your account portal.
Q: How far in advance can I book classes or events?
You can now reserve your spot up to one month in advance for both weekly classes and special events.
Q: Is there anything I should know about picking the class I want to attend?
Each class held at Skybird has a Virtual option (for live streaming). If your intention is to be IN PERSON for class, be careful to choose the right class when you register!
Q: Is mat selection still reserved?
Mat spaces are first come, first served WHEN YOU ARRIVE. NOTE: this is a change from the current practice.
Q: Can I purchase a class pack in advance?
Absolutely! You can purchase a class pack anytime, and it will be applied directly to your account. These passes are flexible—you can use them for yourself or share them with guests you bring to class.
Q: Can I still bring a guest or use my package for them?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring a guest and use your class package to cover their spot. At this time, you can reserve spots for multiple guests in one transaction ONLY via the website (not yet available in the app). You can still register multiple guests through the app, but one at a time. Your guest(s) will automatically receive notice of the registration and be prompted to sign the waiver before attending class.
Q: What if I have a guest who is paying separately?
Simply direct them to download the App or go to skybirdyoga.com to set up an account and register.
Q: Is there a waitlist if the class is full?
Yes! The Skybird YOGA Portal has a solution for this. If you want to get into a class and it is listed as Waitlist, you can put your name on the list and will receive notice via email if a spot opens. Note: it will not automatically register you - you must complete the registration process.
🚪 ARRIVAL & STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Q: When should I arrive for class?
Doors open 30 minutes before class begins. We encourage you to arrive early to settle in, choose your mat spot, and ease into the space before practice begins.
Please aim to be fully set up and ready at least 5 minutes before start time. This helps us begin on time and maintain a peaceful, focused environment for everyone.
We kindly ask that you keep the main studio space quiet upon arrival, as many students use this time to stretch, meditate, or simply arrive inwardly before practice. Conversations are welcome in the check-in area.
There are some mats and props available for use at the studio, however we always encourage you to bring your own if possible.
❌ CANCELLATION POLICY
Q: What is your cancellation policy for classes?
Out of respect for other students and our limited space, we ask that any class cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance.
If you cancel with 24 hours notice, you’ll receive credit toward a future class which will go back into your Skybird account, valid for one calendar year from the time of purchase.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time will be considered a late cancel and are non-refundable. No-shows will also be charged in full.
